This is a draft of the report of an Interfaith Conference entitled “Strengthening the impact of the faith based network in the region” held 19 – 22 February 2007 held at the Good Shepherd Retreat Centre, Hartebeespoort, South Africa. The aim of the conference was to share insights and information from the research undertaken by the three grantee organisations and to strengthen the faith based network to influence national and regional policy on issues such as poverty alleviation, food security, orphans and vulnerable children and social giving in the SADC region.
