Africa-Europe: demonstration against the Economic Partnership Agreements

African and European trade unionists demonstrated on January 2008, in Brussels against the ongoing Economic Partnership agreements. The International Trade Union Confederation expressed its strong view that the agreements (EPAs) being negotiated between the European Union (EU) and the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries  required fundamental changes in order to promote genuine trade and development opportunities for the ACP.
