“The debt problem is not over, despite all the promises and schemes offered
by lending governments and international financial institutions.” This is one of the messages that were being sent out in the build-up to the global week of protest against illegitimate debt. The week of protests took place on the 14th to the 21st of October in 2007. This document contains the agenda and specific issues civil society was protesting against.
