EJN, the Southern Africa Trust, and the Malawi Cross Border Trade association organised a regional workshop on Informal Cross Border Trade (ICBT) in the SADC region on 12 November, 2008.

The main objective was to set up a regional platform for ICBT to advocate related issues and strenghten national associations. The first step has been taken, a coalation of partners from Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, DRC and South Africa have agreed to work together to put a regional network in place.
