Dr. Julie Howard, Executive Director of Partnership to Cut Hunger and Poverty in Africa, gave testimony before the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health, on global food security. She said that US agricultural funding for Africa remains a relatively small fraction of the country’s global assistance, and urged that the commitment to improving food security be made a reality.
